What Information Should Buyers Include in an RFQ?
A checklist of the information that helps us prepare an accurate, fast timber or solid biomass fuel supply quotation.
The faster and more precisely we understand your requirement, the faster we can return an accurate quotation. The following checklist covers what our commercial team typically needs.
Product Detail
- Product (timber species/grade, or fuel type — pellets, firewood, chips, briquettes, charcoal)
- Quantity and unit (tonnes, m³, litres, or pallets/bags)
- Required specification (dimension, moisture content, packaging format)
Delivery Detail
- Delivery country and city/port
- Preferred Incoterm (EXW, FCA, FOB, CIF, CFR, DAP or other)
- Required delivery date and, if relevant, ongoing supply frequency (spot, monthly, quarterly, annual)
Documentation & Compliance
- Any certification requirement (e.g. FSC chain of custody)
- Any specific documentation your business needs for its own compliance or resale requirements
Company Detail
- Company name and VAT/registration number
- Contact name, business email and phone number
